The initiation of the Transportation Master Plan study was endorsed by
Council of the Whole at its meeting on February 6, 2006.
The preliminary schedule is summarized below:
• Study inception and data collection – February 2006
• Review of the existing and future conditions – March 2006
• Public Information Centre No. 1 – May
2006
• Problem statement and development of the Alternatives – April 2006
• Initial evaluation of the alternatives – June 2006
• Public Information Centre No. 2 – June
2006
• Recommended Transportation Strategy – July and August 2006
• Final Transportation Master Plan Report and Study Completion –
September 2006
