Q - Will there be an opportunity for the public to provide input?
A - Public consultation is vital for the success of the Study. There are at least two Public Information Centres (PIC) planned as part of this study. There will be other opportunities to provide input, including providing comments to the Team when the Transportation Master Plan Report is filed.

Q – How will I know when the next Public Information Centre Event is going to be held?
A – When an information centre has been scheduled, the date, time and location will be posted on this website and can be accessed by clicking on the Events heading. If you are on the study mailing list a Notice of Public Consultation Centre will be mailed directly to you. A notice will also be advertised in the local newspapers prior to the information centre.

Q – How can I be added to the study mailing list?
A – You can be added to the study mailing list by contacting either the Town of Richmond Hill or Consultant Project Manager, or by using the site email by clicking on the Comments heading.

Q - What is a Transportation Master Plan?
A - The Transportation Master Plan develops transportation vision for the community, sets mobility objectives and implementation plans for the municipal infrastructure projects.

Q – Is the Ministry of Transportation participating in the study?
A – The Ministry of Transportation is participating as a member of the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC). Prior to each of the Public Information Centres, the TAC will review the material to be presented to the public and provide input.

Q – Is the Toronto Region Conservation Authority participating in the study?
A – The Toronto Region Conservation Authority is participating as a member of the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC). Prior to each of the Public Information Centres, the TAC will review the material to be presented to the public and provide input.

Q - When will the study be completed?
A – It is the intention of Town of Richmond Hill to complete the study by September 2006.
